Terms & Conditions (the "Terms & Conditions") for Songs AI ("Songs AI" / "we" / "us" / "our" / the "Website").

Use of the Website

A limited number of Credits may be available to try out the services provided by this Website.

For continued use, you are required to purchase additional Credits.

Refunds can be issued ONLY for unused Credits if requested within 14 days of purchase. Refunds will not include any payment processing fees which are a minimum of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction.

We do not guarantee that access to the Website will always be uninterrupted or be in the current form.

You must not upload any content to the Website that is protected by a copyright or intellectual property right which you do not have and attempt to hold us responsible for publishing such content.

You must not copy, use and distribute (or sell to your customers for the benefit of a competitor) any part of the Website for commercial purposes without obtaining a license from us first.

The use of any data mining or data extraction software on the Website is strictly forbidden.

We reserve the right to change, suspend or terminate the Website at anytime.

Your Account

Let us know as soon as possible if you suspect or know that someone has gained unauthorized access to your account.

You may sign in using email-based magic links or via third-party authentication providers such as Google or Apple. By using a social login provider, you authorise us to access limited profile information (name, email, profile picture) for the sole purpose of account creation and authentication.

We monitor all accounts for fraudulent behaviour (multiple accounts to attempt to manipulate the system in any way). We will immediately terminate all accounts that perform such actions to protect other members of the Website.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account at our sole discretion.

We may also send you notifications such as newsletter issues, offers and others. Preferences can be managed from the footer of any email you receive with such communication from us.

Services

Songs AI provides AI-powered music creation tools including, but not limited to: AI song generation (with vocals, instrumentals, and album art), AI lyrics generation, lyrics rewriting, vocal removal, song analysis, and key/BPM detection.

Music, lyrics, vocals, and other content are generated automatically based on the prompts, descriptions, and parameters you provide, using Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems.

Unless otherwise stated, it is fully your responsibility to review the AI-generated content provided to you by the system and carry out any amendments before publishing in accordance with the law.

In the future, we may introduce additional services and/or tools, including but not limited to: direct publishing or uploading of your generated content (such as song visualisations or music videos) to third-party platforms (e.g., YouTube, Spotify, or other distribution services). Any such feature will require your explicit consent and authorisation before acting on your behalf. You will maintain full control over what is published and will be able to revoke access at any time.

Any abuse of our services will result in your subscription being reviewed and we will reach out to you to discuss your needs. Failure to comply with the Fair Use Policy may result in your account and subscription being canceled and no refunds will be given.

Ownership of Generated Content

Songs, lyrics, music, album art, and other content you generate using Songs AI are yours to keep, publish, and monetise. You may use your generated content on streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.), video platforms (YouTube, TikTok, etc.), in films, podcasts, games, or any other creative or commercial project.

Songs AI does not claim ownership over the content you generate. However, we reserve the right to use anonymised, aggregated usage data to improve our services.

Responsible AI and Copyright Compliance

Songs AI is committed to the responsible and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence in music creation. We believe AI should empower musicians and creators, not replace them.

Our commitments:

Respect for copyright: We use in-house AI models and only partner with reputable, licensed AI music generation providers (like Google) that respect intellectual property rights and copyright law. We do not train models on copyrighted music without proper authorisation or licensing.
Respect for artists: We believe human creativity is central to music. Our tools are designed to assist, inspire, and amplify your creative vision — not to replicate or imitate specific artists' identities, voices, or likenesses without authorisation.
Privacy and trust: We are committed to privacy when you are using our platform. Our music generation is powered by in-house fine-tuned AI models and reputable third-party AI providers who operate in compliance with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws (like Google).
Creator empowerment: Songs AI exists to empower songwriters, musicians, producers, and creators of all skill levels around the world — giving everyone the tools to bring their musical ideas to life.
No unauthorised use of identity: You must not use Songs AI to generate content that impersonates, imitates, or misrepresents a real person's voice, likeness, or artistic identity without their explicit consent. Any such use is a violation of these Terms.

We support and align with the principles outlined by industry initiatives such as AI For Music (aiformusic.info), advocating for copyright respect, creator consent, fair compensation, and transparency in AI-powered music creation.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Songs AI to:

Generate content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property, copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights.
Impersonate or imitate a real person's voice, likeness, or artistic identity without their explicit authorisation.
Create hateful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful content.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or replicate the AI models or underlying technology.
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the service beyond its intended use.
Circumvent usage limits, credits, or any technical restrictions.

Third-Party Platform Integrations

We may offer optional integrations with third-party platforms (e.g., YouTube, social media platforms, music distribution services) to allow you to publish, share, or distribute your generated content directly from Songs AI.

When using such integrations:

You will be required to authorise access to your third-party account via OAuth or similar secure authentication methods.
We will only perform actions you explicitly request (e.g., uploading a specific video to your YouTube channel).
You remain solely responsible for the content you publish to third-party platforms and must comply with their respective terms of service.
You may disconnect or revoke access to any linked third-party account at any time from your account settings.

Limitation of Liability

All warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or common law are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from this Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in this Agreement limits or excludes the liability of Songs AI for:

death or personal injury resulting from its negligence; or
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

We shall not under any circumstances be liable for:

loss of profits; or
any special, indirect or consequential loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses.

We will not be liable for any damage or loss in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise arising in connection with: your use of the Website or any aspect related to it.

Website Content

The Website's content and output from the services is for creative, informational, and inspirational purposes and comes with no warranties or guarantees of any kind.

External Web Resources and Links

Throughout the Website, you may find links to external web resources that are external to our Website. We do not control or manage the content in the external web resources and cannot guarantee the correctness of information contained in such resources.

We may not be held liable in any way if the actions you took based on the content in external web resources to the Website resulted in an unfortunate event.

You may link to our website, but when doing so, please do it in a legal and fair way to not damage our reputation.

Viruses

We take reasonable steps to ensure the Website is free of viruses, however we cannot guarantee it will be free of viruses or other unwanted software at all times.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the device you use to access the Website has updated anti-virus software active on it.

You must not upload or attempt to transfer viruses or other unwanted software via the Website.
